We are equipped with our own on-site x-ray facility. X-rays give a great deal of information and help to locate problem areas of the spine that may be causing pain or contributing to ill health.
These conditions may be arthritis, scoliosis, or other more sinister problems. They give an exact picture of your spine and allow the chiropractor to provide safer and more precise care.
After an examination, the chiropractor may decide that he or she needs additional diagnostic information. Chiropractors may take x-rays to rule out problems and to determine if the patient is actually a chiropractic case. X-rays can help the Chiropractor determine the best possible treatment technique and plan for you.
X-rays are not always necessary or advisable. If you have had recent x-rays taken elsewhere that are related to your condition your Chiropractor may be able to use them to learn more about your problem. Bring them with you if you can or at least try to remember where they were taken so we can access the report.
